He Died For Me

“Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed”. ~ Isaiah 53:4-5
“I can do all things through Christ
which strengthen me”. – Philippians 4:13

And yet again, here I find myself seeking solace in the way of therapy, because I cannot find strength in Christ alone.  I am weak, I’m incapable.

I’m so weak Lord.  Please forgive me, before I ever begin.

The thing is, I can acknowledge it.  I see it.  I can hear all the words like these verses, which those should be enough and truthfully they are, but even seeking outside the Bible.

Emotions are Temporary

This Too Shall Pass

No One Can Make you Feel Anyway Unless You Let Them

Irrational Beliefs are Just That, Irrational Beliefs.  They cannot control you.

And back to the Bible

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts but one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well”.  – Romans 12:4-6

So I go further with my stinking thinking and I am so guilty and so guilt ridden because I think of Jesus on the cross, and I think, How DARE I… How DARE I… I have no room to be thinking of myself.

Jesus, the son of God, come to this earth to give his life for me and you.  His life…  he gave his LIFE for me… How dare I even once complain about any measly little thing.

Goodness, I feel so inept… to think.  That this little bitty baby, was in a manger, born of this young man, young woman, with the barn animals.  To think as he grew, he learned a meager craft, a carpenter by trade, who loved his mother.

This man now, who became a leader of men.

This man Jesus.  God.  Yaweh

He Died For Me

And for that I am forgiven

And for that I am so weak,  I’m so  incapable.

Talk to me!!!
