Ten Words

Have you ever imagined, the ten same words, meaning ten different things?  Read those verses above, and put the emphasis on the words in RED

Can you imagine??? The same ten verses, the same ten quotes, that you pray to God, for you to have enduring strength in HIM.

And only one change in the word can turn the whole prayer around.

I keep looking at my life that way.  If I changed just one thing, or said just one thing, or did just one thing, or maybe went somewhere different.   Or maybe DIDN’T go somewhere.

or DIDN’T say something. You get the picture.

You can’t change anything that you put before God.  Just as you can’t change the text of a verse of a Bible and what it means

“I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me”. – Philippians 4:13
No emphasis on any word , the emphasis is on the verse itself.

And that is where we should find ourselves today and everyday.  On the path with Jesus each and every day.

I find myself getting so frustrated sometimes at someone who isn’t fully in a path with Jesus, and I have to really pray because I am thinking, get with the program.  You know, pray through it, or if you would just read your Bible, pray more, study more, etc.  Then I think.

Oh My Goodness, what on earth have I done, but judge them in a justification that only God is capable of doing.  I have put myself above them.  And then I realize the path that I expected them to take, but that I’m not walking on myself.  One of unfettered holiness.

How unjust and unfair is that?  God I beg of you to forgive me of this sin and to please forgive me for not reaching out to people when in turn I have turned my back on people in this position.

I should have stepped up and stepped out and said, what can I do to help, and in Your Strength, you would have enabled me to do what is necessary to help whoever it is that I have hindered Father God, I thank you for Your tenderness and compassion, in that you give me the ability to be forgiven and to forgive and that you also give me the ability to step out in my uncomfort zone and speak about what mistakes I’ve made.  I pray to you that you will be in favor to those whose blessing I am seeking.

Dear Lord most of all, I ask your forgiveness in my life for not stepping out in your salvation to speak in your salvation. Please Father God, give me the strength to say the words I need to say to share Your love and Eternal greatness. ~ Amen
