I love church. I actually love MY church very much.
Through a series of devastating things that have happened lately though, I am very disillusioned with “Corporate Church”
Our church has been through some major growing pains, as well as staff transitions. However, God is still abounding inside the family of this church
It’s growing still, it still offers many of the programs that we have always offered.
My thoughts and feelings are as simple as this
I’m convinced that in the Church today, we need less spotlights, foglights, formulas & simply more humility & dependence on the Holy Spirit.

We need to go back to the basics. Start over. Bible, Praise and Worship (without the Bells and Whistles) and Prayer.
Go back to trusting God to lead and guide the worship, instead of having it all laid out in front of us.
While that “formality” is sometimes a good thing. When you are in a stressful time within your church family with staff changes, resignations, etc, etc, etc
Getting back to the basics, brings you home, back to the “Heart of Worship”
